Ireally like this piece.  It illustrates very nicely why voters like me have become so disenchanted with the Republican policy.  I'm at the point where I am desperate to find a Democrat to vote for, but they somehow still manage to suck even harder.  The Libertarians, of course, are all too busy smoking pot and talking about the counter-revolution, man, to make the beautiful ideas at the core of their platform real enough to overturn the Ron Paul nutjobs that plan their strategy.

I just finished watching the Astros beat the Nationals 6-5 with Lance Berkman going 5-for-5, including two doubles and two stolen bases for the big guy, in a career night.  It was great to see and I only mention it here for sports attendence posterity. 

 

This was my second visit to the new field; on the first I watched a nearly crippled Mark McGuire launch a home run into outer space over center field.  Overall I think Minute Maid Park is great.  But WTF is up with that steep, career-ending hill right in the middle of center field?  It looks like it is designed to make people trip head-first at a dead run into three flagpoles.

I am not a big fan of Vodka.  When I do drink it, however, I try to drink Monopolowa, and have for years.   I've long thought it is the best vodka around.  Until recently a google search for this brand turned up nothing on the internet.   Have you heard of it or tried it, vodka fans?
